Who We Are
The local chapter, Rebuilding Together Saratoga County, Inc. (RTSC), was founded in 2003 when Michelle Larkin invited friends and relatives to an informational meeting. All 35 people who attended committed themselves to the mission of helping their neighbors in need and the first donation of $100 was received. The program has grown steadily since. In 2004, 100 volunteers completed 5 projects. Five years later, 600+ volunteers donating 4,200 hours completed 150 projects. In addition to the annual spring workdays, last year we added a fall work day in September.

2008 RTSC Video

Please enjoy our video from 2008. We are busy creating 2009 and will publish it on our newly redesigned website within the next month.

What We Do
In partnership with community, we repair the homes of qualified Saratoga County homeowners who are low-income, elderly or disabled.

There is never a cost to the homeowner.

Who we help: There are 24-million low-income homeowners in America. That number is predicted to grow to an astonishing 28.5 million by 2010. More and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities over essential home repairs and modifications.

Rebuilding Together believes the disabled and elderly should be allowed to remain in their own homes whenever possible. We believe that all people deserve to live in homes that are safe and warm. We believe that our nation's veterans who return with disabilities deserve a helping hand so they may return to their own homes in basic comfort.

We believe that communities want to be a part of helping their neighbors in need.
